Data Deletion

Last updated: 2 August 2026

This notice explains how you can permanently delete the data associated with Invo - The Invoice Maker (the "App"), and what is deleted, kept, and retained. The App is published by Tirth Enterprise, a sole proprietorship based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India ("we", "us", the data fiduciary). It forms part of, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy.

In short

  • You can delete all of your data yourself, immediately, from within the App — no request, no waiting period.
  • Invo is local-first: your invoices, customers and business details are stored on your device, not on our servers.
  • We hold no invoice, customer or business data on our side, so there is nothing for us to retain about you after deletion.

1 How to delete your data (in the App)

Deletion is available at any time, directly in the App, and takes effect immediately:

  • Open Invo - The Invoice Maker on your device.
  • Open the Account tab.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Read the on-screen warning and tap Confirm delete.

The App displays this confirmation before you proceed: "This permanently deletes your business, invoices, and account. This cannot be undone."

Tapping Confirm delete performs a full reset. It permanently erases your data on the device and this device's usage counter held by us, and returns the App to its first-launch state. The action is immediate and cannot be undone.

2 What is deleted, what is kept, and retention periods

The table below sets out each category of data, where it is stored, whether it is removed when you delete your account, and how long (if at all) it is retained.

3 Third parties involved

The App relies on the following Google services as data processors. Their handling of data is governed by Google's own privacy policy:

  • Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) — stores only the anonymous, device-keyed monthly usage counter described above.
  • Google Drive — stores your encrypted backup file inside your own Google account, only if you enable backup. Access is limited to files the App creates.
  • Google AdMob — serves advertisements on the free tier using an advertising identifier.

4 Your rights

Consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your data, and to raise a grievance. The in-App Delete account function is the primary means of exercising your right to erasure and is available to you at any time without cost.

5 Requesting deletion another way

If you cannot access the App (for example, you have changed devices) and need help deleting data, contact us at contact@invotheinvoice.in from the email you wish to reference, describing your request. Because we do not hold your invoice or customer data on our servers, most deletion is completed by you in the App and takes effect immediately; where any action is required from us, we will acknowledge and act on your request within a reasonable period and, in any case, no later than 30 days.
